My New Blog!

Aeternal Realm of Sylvaeon
is going to be some of the same and a bit different from my first foray into Old School Gaming blogging. I learned a lot in that brief stint. Real life intruded, but I will not allow that to happen again! I will keep my posts to a manageable number (2 or 3 a week - more if I feel like it or have something I really need to say).

Over at Retro RPG, I stated my reasons why I made the switch. Switching to Blogger was a huge decision and I am just getting used to Blogger, so please bear with me ;)

Goals of this blog:

1) To flesh out over time aspects of my home brew OD&D campaign, aptly named the Aeternal Realm of Sylvaeon.

2) To continue to provide OGL content for use for gamers. While "Sylvaeon" and certain names and concepts are my intellectual property, just like it is in Swords & Wizardry and any other Open Gaming License material, I enjoy providing OGL things for my fellow gamers. So, I am going to continue to do that!  :D

3) To have fun!
I don't want this to be a pressure, so I am going to just be natural and have a good time blogging again. Life is stressful and "The Game" is a major outlet for stress and for creativity - I want it to stay that way.

4) My Fey Project will now begin in earnest here. While Sylvaeon is not ONLY Fey in  nature, it does, at its heart, contain many things Fey, so my project shall move in the light of Faerie, where it belongs :)

More to come soon,  thank you for stopping by!

P.S. If you want me to subscribe to/follow your blog, please leave a comment and the URL...
good free advertising for your own stuff and it gives me things to read and enjoy that you have created.

May the peace of Sylvaeon be yours,
Jeff

  4. What's the significance of the mushroom photo?

  5. It is a toadstool ... in folklore, often times familiars (in the form of a toad!) or fairies would lurk near them.

  6. Ah, I see! Looks like one of the varieties of mushroom in Minecraft - though I guess technically it's a "toadstool". :)
